Rick Whitehead is the recipient of the Washington Area Musician’s Asssociation 2007 award as “Best Jazz Instrumentalist. He was the featured guitar soloist for the USAF Band’s Airmen of Note for 22 years and toured throughout the United States, Far East, and South America with the group.

Originally from Miami, Whitehead started playing the guitar at age 11. By the time he was 18, he was performing on Shows on the Beach and worked with Connie Francis, Sandler and Young, Jayne Morgan, Glen Campbell and others.

John Previti is a native of Washington, D.C. Born in 1954 he began his professional career in 1976 with Danny Gatton, and played with him over a span of 18 years. Since 1994, John has been freelancing as a musician. John’s passion for music is evident in his long list of collaborations, including Charlie Byrd, Doc Cheatham, Paul Simon, Buddy Emmons, Les Paul Arlen Roth, Barrett Deems, John Allred, Bill Allred, Ed Polcer, Big Joe Maher, John Cocuzzi, Brooks Tegler, Billy Hancock, Jim Stephanson, Delbert McClinton, Chick Hall, Jr.Houston Person, and numerous others.

Barry has performed with The Tommy Dorsey Big Band, The Ink Spots, Bob Hope, Cab Calloway, Lou Rawls and The Drifters. Barry was the permanent drummer for Danny Gatton’s jazz quintet, Funhouse. Barry appears on the latest CD Untouchable released by the family of Danny Gatton.
